Harif will be working with faculty members at the Department of Communication to explore how media environments and social psychological processes shape national resilience (e.g., risk communication) and social cohesion (e.g., intergroup communication).
We approach Harif and asked him to share his thoughts after starting his PhD program. Here is what he has to say:
“Thanks for reaching out! It takes a village to raise a student to get into graduate school and I I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Lile, SPUR Lab and the department for their invaluable guidance and encouragement. They have been instrumental in shaping my academic journey. Thank you for believing in me and I look forward to continuing our collaborative work together!”
